Matt Hofmann
Matt is an outdoor adventure and documentary photographer based in Syracuse, New York. He holds an M.S. in Multimedia, Photography and Design from the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University, where he focused on visual storytelling, editorial photography, and environmental justice. Originally from Texas, Matt earned his B.A. in News/Editorial Journalism from the University of Arkansas before spending a year living out of a 1996 Ford E-350 van and exploring the Midwest with a camera in hand. His work blends narrative depth with a love for the outdoors, often centering underrepresented voices and overlooked places.
